PART 2.

Speaking of the 'Part 2' with Isona - You are organising an exhibition of present and past photographs of your town. Decide together which place would be most situable for the exhibition. There is a picture with some ideas to help you on page 66.

- I think the best idea is do the exhibition at the theatre because it's a big place and so popular in the town. What shall we can do?

- I think we can do the exhibition at the library because it's the ideal place for me.

- But there the people can't read O.K. because the eshibition would be noisy... don't you think this?

- I'm agree with you.Why not to do it in the hotel?

- Yes... I think is a good place because there are a lot of people of different countries.

- O.K. Well, have a look! Can you meet with me tomorrow to go to the hotel?

- O.K. Tomorrow at 4 p.m. See you soon!

- Good bye!

PART 3.

Speaking of the 'Part 3' - Candidate A should look at photograph 1 on page 67, show it to Candidate B and talk about it.
Candidate B should look at photograph 2 on page 67, show it to Candidate A and talk about it.

- In this photograph I can see a concert of an orchestra which is made outdoors, I believe in a type of park. I think that this orchestra is about stringed instruments, but I don't know it secure.
There are many people who is kind at the concert and others that they are distracted, but the majority stops attention at the big show.
I think that this spectacle is free because it's in a park and all people can enter here. Also I think this because there aren't any chairs and banks.
I can see there are persons of all ages that symbolizes the concert is for all type of spectators.
At the both sides of the scene are two big screens that they show what is happening in the concert.
I think this spectacle is very interesting because there are a lot of people and they are very concentrated. Also I think it must be a charity show or something of sort.
Surely, I also would go.

Another PART 2.

Your teacher has asked you for ideas to improve your shcool. Look at the picture on page 93. Talk about what improvements you think would be most useful.

J – I think the school needs computers so we can improve them.
I – Yes, but I believe that the computers are quite new and their are very expensive for the school. What do you think about changing some chairs?
J – Yes... you're right, the computers are too new but I don't think changing some chairs is a good idea.
I – Why?
J – Because there are a lot and we don't need them. Why don't we try to buy new books for the library? They can be necessary for future projects.
I – Oh, that sounds good to me.
J – Well, let's go and see what we find.
I – Where we can go to find them?
J – We can go to the bookstore in the shopping center.
I – O.K. Let's go!

1. Jane read Marc's letter again and smiled; he was writing to tell her how much he loved her...
Now Marc is in Ireland studying the career that's important for him. He left two months ago and from the first day he writes letters to the person who he loves in this world: Jane. He explains that he's O.K. there and that he has met a lot of people but he explains too that he misses her a lot. Jane couldn't resist to cry: she wants him to return as soon as he can. She remained thinking during some time; she was sure that she will make a visit to Marc soon, very soon.

Page 55, exercise 11 - Write a letter to a friend about a film you've seen recently.

Dear Irene,
Thank you for the last letter. It was fantastic to hear news from you. And now, let me tall about a film I saw this week called 'Cold mountain'. The story happens in the year 1860, in North America. The people who live there are in Civil War. In this period, many women had to separae from their men because they were taking part in the war.

One of these couples was that of Inman and Ada. Inman escapes far from the war to meet Ada again at the countryside. In the way back he confronted many difficulties, but none of them does that he loses the hope.

It's a very romantic film with a sad end. We were very sentimental and everyone were crying when Inman died.
